Pension Review Contractor

This is a 3 month contract at a market leading financial services organisation.
The purpose of the role is to carry out a suitability review of pension transfer and drawdown sale, to identify whether the appropriate standards were applied, and that advice was suitable for client's circumstances.

 
Knowledge required:
A very good knowledge of retirement planning issues, the sales process and documentation issued to customers
Good technical knowledge of occupational and personal pension schemes, including drawdown and phased retirement arrangements
Very good understanding of FSA Conduct of Business rules that apply to pension transfers and drawdowns

Skills:
An analytical and inquiring mind
The ability to review sales records and assess whether suitable advice was given, taking into account the client's circumstances and preferences
Experience of checking pension transfer and drawdown sales would be highly desirable
The role is initially for a 3 month period, however, it may be extended over a longer period depending on the outcome of the reviews.
