Motor Personal Injury Claims Handler
A position as a Motor Personal Injury Claims Handler has arisen within a multinational insurance company with offices based in Fareham.
The main responsibility of this position will involve delivering a high quality customer focused claims service that supports the achievement of departmental objectives through the proactive management of Motor Personal Injury claims.
Main Accountabilities
Ensure effective and prompt settlement of claims.
Reviews claims and proactively finalises within current governance guidelines and technical limits.
Investigate and negotiate claims settlement within authority limits.
Proactively manage own caseload and work as part of team to ensure personal and team objectives are met.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, GCUK customers and other key stakeholders.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of legislation and legal liability.
Experience of working within a technical claims environment handling Motor Personal Injury claims.
Good case management and workload management skills.
Sound numerical and grammatical skills.
Relevant business/industry qualification or working towards.
High level knowledge of products and services.
High level market, risk and business awareness.
The salary - £17,770 to £27,830 dependent upon experience.
