Axe to fall at L&G
UK insurer Legal and General (L&G) is planning to cut between 250 to 450 jobs.
With main offices in London, Brighton, Cardiff and Kingswood in Surrey it is not yet known where the axe will fall.
L&G employs around 8500 staff in the UK. In a statement made by the company the firm it said that it has begun consulting with the unions. Additionally a spokesman for the company said " L&G will keep any potential redundancies to a minimum and will try to find suitable alternative employment for staff affected"
